November 29, 2006 - MICROSCOPE: A new X-ray microscope that can produce three-dimensional images of nanomaterials, co-developed by John Miao, UCLA assistant professor of physics and astronomy, was featured today in a story by United Press International.
Miao collaborated with University of California - Davis Professor Subhash Risbud along with colleagues from Japan and Taiwan. The device can be used for making better materials in electronics, optics and biotechnology.
The research appears in the journal of Physical Review Letters.
