The UCLA on-campus Technology Incubation Program at CNSI is an innovative resource with a mission to help accelerate the growth of entrepreneurial start-up companies and early stage technology research projects that originate at UCLA. Proposals/ applications for incubation space are now being considered for the Incubation space opening in March 2009.

The CNSI Incubator Space provides 2000 sq ft of flexible lab space dedicated to housing 8-10 early stage incubation projects on a short-term basis with the goal of forming start-up companies to be spun-out. Seminars, workshops and other training will be available to the public in cooperation with the UCLA Office of Intellectual Property & Industry Sponsored Research, the Anderson School of Management and the UCLA School of Law to help entrepreneurs with all aspects of business development and the marketing of technologies to potential investors.

With a focus on research impacting areas of health, energy, environment and information technology, the CNSI is committed to accelerating the transfer of new technologies from the laboratory to the clinical and commercial marketplace. The CNSI is one of four Institutes for Science and Innovation established by the State of California to better deliver scientific discoveries to the marketplace.
